Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known by the stage name, “Wizkid” is a Nigerian songwriter and singer. He’s a global icon when it comes to afrobeats music and is known to be one of the most influencial African artists to ever exist.
He began recording music when he was 11 years old. He released a collaborative album with a group he formed with some church friends, known as the Glorious Five.
Popular Nigerian Musician, Banky W signed Wizkid onto his record label, Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) in 2009. Wizkid came into the limelight when he released “Holla at Your Boy” off his debut studio album which became a smash hit.
