Rihanna Set To Perform “Lift Me Up” At The Oscars

Fans of Rihanna must brace themselves for more of her now after the sensational singer took a hiatus from the entertainment scene and only returned to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show.

The performance on the night made a lot of headlines for obvious reasons despite it been for only 13 minutes.

She is now set to follow that performance up with another at undoubtedly the biggest night in Hollywood which is the Oscars.

Rihanna is set to perform “Lift Me Up” which was done with Tems, Ryan Coogler and Ludwig Göransson at the Oscars. The song featured on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Soundtrack and has been nominated for the best original song.

The event which is the 95th Academy Awards ceremony will be held on March 12 and happens to be the first time the singer is receiving an Oscar nomination.

Rihanna, who took a hiatus from music a few years ago to focus on other businesses of hers is back with a bang. This very song, “Lift Me Up” happens to be her first solo song after her ANTI album in 2016.

Here is what she had to say when asked about her return, “I’m feeling open to exploring, discovering, creating things that are new, things that are different, things that are off, weird. Might not ever male sense to my fans but I want to have fun with music”.
